And here we have another smaller gauge (18"?) Porter, courtesy of Andrew Wright's web site on sites to see in Sandon, British Columbia. It's currently located near the Town Hall, which if I read the web site correctly, is a museum.

These next two Porter compressed air locomotives are made available from Mike Decker. Mike is an afficianado of Porters, among other 'critters'. These two are located at the Homestake mine in Lead, South Dakota. As you can see, Porter used 'safety yellow' long before today's trendy SUV's!

This 18-inch gauge Porter compressed air locomotive is rarely seen, as it is currently in the 'vaults' of the California State Railroad Museum in Sacremento, California. This photo is brought to you with their permission.

This Porter is another 36" gauge compressed air. It is one of only a handful of three-footers that we have been able to locate as survivors. This is from the web site located here, and is attributed to Stephen King, and is here with his permission.

This Porter is located in a children's park in Rapid City, South Dakota. The photo was taken by Ed Burger. From the Steam Locomotive dot Info web site, it appears to also be 36" gauge. I wonder if it's pining for another mining three-foot stable mate?
